So I went thru my fabric stash this morning and used this IKEA fabric I bought a while ago but had yet to use.
The blurb of the pattern is that “These pouches are very easy to make, take very little time to sew, use little in the way of supplies, and turn out very cute.”
Well it sure was a very simple and easy pattern and only took me an hour to make (with breakfast and cuddles given to the boys in between), and it did turn out very cute.
I made the Large version of it and the pleats allow it to expand so it can fit more things in there – and the way I go, I always carry a little bit more than normal as my business cards can get bulky in a normal size purse or wallet.
It can fit the necessities like cards, money, keys and mobile phone and also a digital camera and closes easily with the 4″ velcro. Another great pattern from Keyka Lou.
Okay, gonna sit in front of the telly crocheting and watch the lifestyle channel’s home makeover. Boys are in bed, hubby out with his mates, my time.
